HELLO APRIL

Not gonna write any inspiring ish this time and not gonna put my hopes up too high. Honestly, I just want to enjoy April. I want to have pic nics with my friends and wear flower crowns and find a balance between my desire of getting back in shape for Summer and the huge amount of chocolate I am going to be buried by when Easter comes. Also, let's throw in some blooming flowers and fresh winds for some good measure.
Brace yourself for a thousands pictures of peonies invading the Instagram: Spring is coming.

I have always like wolves. They're not my favorite animal (Have you ever seen my blog name?) but there's something about their wilderness and their independence that I find empowering. So when my mom started raving abut Women Who Run With The Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estés I was instantly interested. Just now she's purchased two copies to give to her best friends as birthday gifts so I can tell it must be a very good book. Mom says it is one you should keep on your bedside table and read a chapter every now and then. From what I've heard it is quite e psychological one and should help you get in touch with your inner Wild Woman.

LISTENTOThis

Oh Honey sounds exactly like Spring. I've been a fan of them ever since discovering them through Glee and just now they have published their third EP. Amazing band with some folky and positive duets that are gonna bring the sun into your life even when struggling with April showers.
Doctors recommend to listen to Be Okay at least twice a day to cure post Spring break blues.

WATCHThis

Oh My God. How late am I to the party? I know, but then again who cares when said party is set in the 60s and the venue is New York? Mad Men is the tv series that tells the story of the Ad Men (get it?) working in Madison Avenue in 1960. With drama, winged liner and a good dose of marketing it looks like my perfect tv show. Still love me a bit of TW, though, don't worry.

CHECKThis

This week I went through the last episodes of The Carrie Diaries, which you know I love. If you pay attention, you'll remember I'm also a big fan of AHS, and one of several Evan Peters' suitors. Put this two things together, add a bit of hipster music, a broken arm and a good amount of irony and you'll get this mock trailer for Sofia Coppola's Little Mermaid by Funny Or Die. Not gonna lie I've probably watched this about 60 times already since discovering it two days ago - #NoShame.
Also, admit your heart break a little bit like mine did when you realized it is not a real thing.
Petition to have Evan Peters to play the bastard version of a Disney Prince in his next movie, please.

hope you'll have a wonderful April!
