HELLO FEBRUARY

I've always loved being born in February. I feel like it is a unique club to be part of, since it is the shortest month, a club I'm so happy people like LaurenHarry and Ed are part of, too. Also, Aquarius kids are meant to be very creative and they have the coolest tune out of all the zodiac signs.
You know how it is when you feel like the whole month your birthday is in belongs to you, regardless   of if you were born on the 1st or on the 20th? Those are obviously my feelings towards February, with the difference that I really want it to be my month this time. If in November I found out what I wanted (kinda) in February I want to get it done. I want to work my ass off and actually achieve something concrete. And I'm gonna do it, 'cause it is my month.
It's my month.

I've been really into autobiographic books lately: I enjoy learning what a successful person has been though, what has shaped them into what they are now, and who doesn't love Alexa Chung? Who doesn't drool at her effortless chic vibes? Who's not a fan of this super instagrammable minimal pink book? Well, I still haven't read it yet, but I can't wait to learn a bit more about this it girl and feature her book in every picture ever from now on.

This time I have kinda of a double deal, but since it is my birthday, I can do what I want.

This time I have kinda of a double deal, but since it is my birthday, I can do what I want.
Obviously Ed had to be featured here, giving the fact that he's a Feb kid and that I was completely blown away by him at his show last week. I'm not gonna lie: I'm still into a post-concert blues so I don't listen to his music right now otherwise I would tear up at the first note, but it still is an incredible album and you know it. Also, if you are one of those people who actually have a date on V-day *gags* you can find some romantic inspiration in this little green goodness. The One / Photograph mash-up he does live is proved to make everyone cry with happiness and willing to marry whoever played it to them.

Onto the second thing, I want to talk both about a playlist and a App / Website. The playlist I've been loving is the Chillout Playlist by Ella Grace Denton: a beautiful compilation of folk / indie music that pairs perfectly with a Shavasana or a Sunday morning and that is bound to set you in the best mood from song 1. This playlist is on this platform called 8Tracks where people can create and share their favorite playlist. A bit like Spotify but I find it way more enjoyable and human, if that makes sense. You can search new playlist by genre and needs (like workout, chill, study, focus) and it's a great way to find new artists and music. Also, Jenn is on there as well and just published her new year playlist!

Again breaking the rules here, but hey, I'm a rebel. Today I'm sharing with you four videos, and there is not even a theme to them. But did you know YouTube is turning 10 on the 14th? Here's another member of the Fab Feb Club, gotta celebrate right?

Claire is the queen of YouTube, full stop. Her editing skills and creativity always blow me away. I love how she can take the most overdone tag on YouTube and make it incredibly interesting. Take this What's In My Bag video: it is in stop motion, with over 500 pictures used and it has watercolors. I have watched it 25476824 times.

I didn't truly understand what was going on here. I mean, obviously it is a vlog, but there are so many clips and jingles and titles and then Jack is suddenly in a very fancy HD shot. I don't know, but I loved it. It is funny and inspiring and new, really enjoyed it. First time I have ever said that about a PMS, to be honest.

Good style channels are not very easy to come across on YouTube, but thanks to Estée I found the perfect Scandi Minimal style channel ever. The Line Up is run by two lovely girls, who have different styles that compliment each other beautifully. I hope one day I'll reach that minimal perfection!

This one's for the whoever's in need of a laugh right now. Natalie is my spirit animal, she's just so funny and *Connor Franta's voice* oh so #Relatable. I found myself actually laughing out loud at her latest video. And it was 1 am. Honestly, just subscribe to her channel, it will cheer you up like nothing else.

hope you (and I) will have a wonderful February!
