NUXE REVE DE MIEL LIP BALM REVIEW
The Nuxe Reve de Miel was something I've had my eyes on for a while, before deciding to buy it eventually, justifying the purchase under 'things I need for my trip to NYC'. It's a balm with a very unique consistency, quite thick, that I would describe it as... sandy? It's like a very old school balm, not those liquidy gluey stuff The Body Shop tries to saddle us with. It smells like a cup of hot lemon water with honey, which obviously adds to the fact that this stuff is a completely life saviour. You know when you wake up after a night of... erm... fun and your lips feel like they're about to fall off your face? This will help you. You know when you have a very bad cold and your pout gets the consistency of sandpaper? This will do. You know when you just don't scrub your lips enough and don't drink enough water during the day and so you get those flakes who looks not so good mixed with a matte lipstick? That's the one.
And if that wasn't enough, I also love the matte finish it leaves on the lips, a true 'you're lips but better' effect that's so much more flattering than the old sticky chapstick shine. If there only was a way to get all of this without having to stick your finger in the lip balm pot... Well, as Hannah would say, nobody's perfect, right?
