& OTHER STORIES BODY SCRUBS REVIEW

"They don't sell Soap&Glory in Italy, therefore I never buy body scrubs in Italy. There are brands who sell them, but they're usually too expensive or with a weird smell, so I basically wait for a trip to the UK to fill my suitcase with scrubbing goodies." that was me an era ago (actually a month ago), before I discovered the & Other Stories body scrubs and fell in love with 'em.

Even though & Other Stories is quite an high end brand, their body range is super affordable (hence why I came home with four pots, and I had restrained myself) and those body scrubs are just €9 for 250 ml. They're very rough, full of sugar crystals to give a good ol' exfoliation, but as you're rubbing them on your body they will also create a sort of foam which will moisturize and smooth out your skin. I like the fact that they're that harsh because if I use a scrub I want my skin to be exfoliated, something i don't think I can achieve with a cream with spare beads in (The Body Shop I'm looking at you).

They come in a pentillion different scents but I picked up Sugar Crush and Frozen Verbena. Sugar Crush is 'Soft citrus wrapped in caramelized brown sugar...' and obviously smells quite similar to the infamous Soap&Glory line, though I think this one's a bit less limey and sweety. Frozen Verbena instead smells exactly like a mojito, in fact the label reads 'Bright lemon dawn, iced mint on the clear, crisp air...' which I'm 99.9% sure is the mojito recipe.
Both scents doesn't really linger on me, but I do use a body wash and a body butter after exfoliating, so... who knows?

Overall I think they have it all: good scrubbing proprieties, mouth-watering smell, affordable price, hipster names and descriptions and fake-homemade pinterestable jars (which are plastic, so thumbs up from my goofie self). Now I just need another trip to Milan...
