MAYBELLINE BABY SKIN PRIMER REVIEW
As you may know, I am a big fan of the Baby Lips, so when I heard a Baby Skin primer was being released just when I was in a primer mood, I had a little dance around.
I own the clear version that claims to minimize your pores and to give you a -you guess it - smooth as a baby skin, but there are other two versions out there - one for peachy skin tones and the other for pink skin tones - which are tinted and should correct also redness and stuff.
As I said, this version is clear and comes out as a thick gel, that feels quite siliconian - which means I was also quite worried it was going to break me out, but it didn't. Whoop, whoop! - but, as you start blending it onto your skin, you can barely feel it anymore. It's a really really light texture, which means that you can't get away with wearing it as a sorta bb cream, as you could with other primers, even though it does smooths out the skin a little bit.
But it's a primer, so its job is to prime, and it does it.
Oh, it does it well.
Make up goes on like silk and lasts the whole day if you remember to slap on this little guy before your foundation, which is what I'm looking for when I use a primer, so the Baby Skin definitely gets two thumbs up for me.
So, now that I've fallen in love with the Baby Lips and the Baby Skin, I'm just excited to see what this new Maybelline branch has on for me next, maybe a Baby Lashes, a Baby Nails? Who knows...
