AVÈNE CLEANANCE MASK REVIEW
When I saw the Avène Cleanance Mask on the shelves of my local pharmacy, claiming to exfoliate and absorb the oil from every blemish-prone young skin, I knew I had to try it.
I might as well had not.
The texture is very creamy, but not thick, with the tiniest beads that I suppose should exfoliate your skin but that really don't do anything. If you layer it up a lot, till your whole face is covered in white, then this mask is amazing, but really, who's got time for that? And why you, Mr or Mrs Avène, would make a mask so light and thin if it doesn't work until I've slapped half of the tube on my face?
Sure it smells exactly as I wish all my skincare smelled, so light and natural and fresh but still super good and yes, this mask works wonders if used as a treatment on those nasty spots here and there, calming them down, drying them out and hear ye, even removing the white heads without having to squeeze 'em. But still, a treatment that smells amazing wasn't what I parted with my money for, so this one gets a big thumbs down from me.
On another note, as you can see I jumped on the band wagon, even if a little late, and took the infamous flowers-out-of-focus shot.
I think it's safe to say I'm a proper blogger now.
