LA ROCHE-POSAY EFFACLAR DUO REVIEW

As you may remember from this post, I was searching for some new skincare products to add to my ashamedly empty stash. As I was scrolling through my favorite blogs, there was one product that kept popping up everywhere, always described ad the 'Holy Grail' or 'Miracle Maker' and it was this one: the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo.

I had a look online and was happily surprised to see that it was available in Italy - whoop! whoop! -which meant I didn't have to wait for the postman to try it. So there I was, the day before my birthday, buying this little boy at my local pharmacy which had a 20% off on LRP items.

Now it's almost a month that I am religiously using it twice a day everyday and I fell like I can give you my opinion: I loke it. Yes, loke, which means I'm still not 100% sure if I love it or like it. Thing is my skin has definitely improved and feels a lot softer. My spots disappeared quite quicker than usual and I think my skin also feels plumper, but I had the great idea of starting using it together with another superstar skincare product: the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish - review's coming soon!- so I'm not so sure about what did what.

Anyway, I love the formula. It's a very fluid serum that smells amazing and very fresh. It goes smoothly on your face, feeling almost like water, so it's not greasy at all and works wonders as a make up base.

After all this ramble I'm still quite confuse. I don't swear by it, I don't kneel at its -figurative- feet and I'm not even sure whether I'd repurchase it or not.

Maybe I'll realize what I had only once it is gone...
