I've seen the lovely Lily Melrose starting this tag on her beauty blog and I thought it would have been
quite fun to do it since I'm the kind of person that never buys something without having some beauty blogger raving about it first.


This two products were quite popular just a few months ago, but now, as it always happens in the blogging universe, everybody has kinda forgot about them. I think they're the perfect items to start this tag with since everybody - I mean relly everybody - swore by it at the time and because one is pricey and the other is not and I have different feelings about them.

BENEFIT THEY'RE REAL MASCARA  » when this came out people went so crazy about it I thought it was a good idea spending 25€ on a mascara. Truth is, I'm not really in love with it. It does leave your lashes full and it does last forever, but I think it's a bit too thick and removing it is a nightmare, so I don't really use it on a everyday bases. I do believe it is a good mascara, but it is also very expensive and for me it is not worth its price.

RIMMEL WAKE ME UP FOUNDATION  » I remember every kind of blogger being in love with it, and I can totally see why. Even if now its five minutes of fame have came to an end I have to admit this is still my everyday foundation. I just love how it feels on my skin and how it makes it look. It smells nice, lasts all day and has tiny little glitters in it that really wakes up your skin - without making you look like a disco ball, I promise. It has a juicy finish but it's not too overwhelming, and I have quite a oily skin. It is very cheap - I believe around 10€ a bottle, but I'm not sure - and lasts forever! I got mine for almost eight months now and it is still going!
