KIHEL'S CREAMY EYE TREATMENT WITH AVOCADO REVIEW

Raise your hand if you have bad bad dark circles, no matter how many hours you sleep. Good, now raise your hand if you know why. No one? Well, I do know where my hereditary dark circles come from: basically my skin is very thin so you can kinda see what's underneath, which is, obviously, blood and so just like a bruise they show up dark and purple.

Having thin skin also means I have quite sensitive eyes and very fine lines, though I'm only 18, which also means concealer sitting weirdly and stingy eyes every time I use a cheap cleansing wipe. This is how I justified buying the Kihel's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado.

Now, I'm gonna be honest with you here, the price tag did made me cry and at €25 it isn't cheap, but it is quite good. It's a very thick cream that your rub through your fingers before applying it, turning it into a oil-like consistency. It feels very soothing and hydrating and I've seen a slight difference in my dark circles and fine lines after using it every day and every night. My skin feels thicker and I've noticed it being less sensitive.

But, and that's a big but, first it's not a product everybody needs. It's a rich cream so unless you have very bad dark circles or under eyes bags or any sort of problem with your eyes chances are you'll be absolutely fine without it. Second, I don't think it's worth the money. I know it's actually one of cheapest eye creams on the market, and I know I should probably try and go a month without it before judging, to really see the effects it gives, but definitely it's not a massive miracle-maker.

I won't mind getting through my whole pot anyway, but just think twice before purchasing it. It's a good eye cream, but nothing more, so maybe a nice new scarf will be a better idea...
