MY AUTUMN ESSENTIALS

A ridiculously long post about everything I love in Autumn time.

I. Flipping. Love. Autumn.
Whenever it comes around with its grey skies and rainy mornings and pumpkins (pumpkins!) I get so excited and wonder how there are people who even like Summer. I mean, when you can have all of this... I just don't understand. Anyway, as you may can tell I love Autumn and - surprise surprise - I love lists so I thought I would give you a round down of everything I can't live without during this magical time of the year and then we can all fall head over heels (pun intended) for Autumn. (Unless you're one of those Summer people*, of course...).

» LIPSTICKS
Lipsticks are a staple of mine all year long, but Autumn is the season when I really get into them, leaving the occasional Summer nude lip. As you can see I'm fond of a certain brand in particular, but is it wrong to love good quality at cheap prices?


» NAIL POLISHES
Now that it's chilly and windy, it's definitely more acceptable to spend a day in watching some TV and painting your nails. Again, it's obvious what my favorite brand is, but sorry I'm not sorry, I'm addicted to a glossy finish and a pretty cheap price tag.

» LUSH GOODIES
One of the things I love the most about Autumn and rainy weather is that it is finally socially acceptable to spend an hour in a hot tub, even though I still don't know why I can't do it when it is 30 degrees, too...

  • LUSH KARMA » Spice and bubbles, what's best? Oh yeah, a pumpkin orange.
  • LUSH BUTTERBALL » One of my all time faves. Moisture + fizz + relaxing vanilla scent = happy Linda.
  • LUSH PHOENIX RISING » It's got the gold, the purple, the cinnamon and the Harry Potter reference, now you just need to throw it in your bath.
» SHOES
As you can see from the WeHeartIt pictures above, I still don't own any of these, but I promise you I'll soon find a way to justify a cheeky purchase.

  • LEOPARD VANS » I've been lusting over this for God knows how long, but they're actually really really hard to find. They're the perfect way to finish a all black outfit, though, so I'll keep on looking.
  • VAGABOND BOOTS » Not that I can afford the real ones, but something similar will be much appreciated on those puddle splashing days.
  • BROGUES » I actually already own a pair of these and they're super cute but super hurtful as well. Need to find a way to wear them without slaughtering my feet.
» TEAS
Love love love tea. I'd drink it all day every day (I actually do).

  • EARL GREY TEA » An old classic I've rediscovered and that has already seen me though many studying sessions.
  • CINNAMON ORANGE TEA » This is the Autumn tea and a all time favorite of mine.
  • CHAI TEA » Warming and spicy, it's also great in latte form.
» RECIPES

» CANDLES
If there's something that will set the season right, this is candles. And don't worry, you will feel the Autumn even without splurging 40€ on a Joe Malone beauty, trust me...

  • IKEA AUTUMN CANDLE » If you're familiar with Ikea candles, you know they don't come with names but only with weird pictures. Well, this orange goodie had a pumpkin on it and even though it also smells slightly orangey, I do refer at it as the Autumn Candle.
  • URBAN OUTFITTERS APPLEPIE » Applepie scent + a cute green packaging, do I need to say more?
  • IKEA APPLE&CINNAMON » This is an oldie but a goodie and something I think everyone should have in their cupboard, waiting for the season of the crispy leaves.
  • BATH&BODY WORKS LONDON CALLING » Did you know I love tea? And did you realize I love candles as well? Well, that is a candle, that smells like tea. Like tea. #heaven
» MUSIC
Well, hello guitars and pianos and melancholic sounds, you've been missed.

  • TAYLOR SWIFT - 1989 » Taylor's first pop album is being released on October the 27th, and I couldn't be more excited, but whereas I do love Shake It Off, I hope there's gonna be a romantic ballad Swift style to see me through those rainy days.
  • ONE DIRECTION - FOUR » It's no secret I enjoy a bit of 1D now and then, and with Fireproof and Steal My Girl still playing in my mind I'm so ready to listen to album #4.
  • GEORGE EZRA - WANTED ON VOYAGE » A deep voice and a retro sounding is what this album is made of, together with travel memories and beautiful words. A real pearl.

There's nothing I enjoy more than drinking a cup of tea while scrolling though my Bloglovin' feed on Sunday mornings, and Autumn is definitely not gonna change this habit.
