YVES SAINT LAURENT BABYDOLL KISS&BLUSH REVIEW
This one is definitely on the higher end and it's a sin son of a trip to Milan + shopping ride with shopaholic bf.
Yeah, it's a 35€ lip product.
But actually, it a 35€ lip product + cream blush, so it's like each one was 17€ which, c'mon, it's not that bad.
The reason why I keep calling the YSL Babydoll Kiss&Blush a lip product is because I still don't really know what it is. It has a creamy and nourishing unique consistency and a beautiful velvety finish. I wouldn't say it's a gloss nor a stain, but more like a liquid lipstick with a matte finish? I don't know, I just know it works wonders both on lips and cheeks, which is really hard to come across. I actually prefer using it on my pout as I'm not the biggest fan of cream blushes, but when the time is ticking or I need to apply my make up on the go it comes handy to have a beautiful 2 in 1 product.
But what I think makes this splurge really worth it it's the color. I own shade 09 Rose Epicurien which according to Google Translate means Epicurian Rose (duh) and it's a beautiful vintage cool toned pink which sits very naturally on the lips, looks like these roses and seems like something Fleur would wear. It's so flattering my partner in crime picked up the same shade, a friend of mine got obsessed with that color and another decided to bite the bullet herself and buy it, plus, it calls for loads of compliments.
Now that we've covered the more technical part of this beauty let's discuss the packaging: gorgeous, gold, luxurious, with that pout applicator that dispenses just the right amount of product.
Oh YSL, you did it again.
