THREE TRICKS FOR » ENHANCING BROWN EYES

If you have brown eyes I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t pick them as you’re favorite feature. They’re quite plaine, not as beautiful as green, blue or grey eyes and always difficult to make ‘em pop, but here’s a few tricks to enhance them.
» TAKE INSPIRATION
When you have a feature you don’t really know how to exploit, the best thing is always to look up at a famous people. They have professional make up artists and stylist, so it’s always a good idea to take inspiration from them. I think the Jenner and Kardashian sisters are the masters in terms of charming brown eyes, so if you need inspiration take a look at their Instagrams.

» THE BIG LASH
Talking about inspiration form the Kardashians, a big bold lash is always a winner when it comes to enhance brown eyes: it would make them look longer, more interesting and sophisticated. If you're not one for the false lashes you can try to get the same dramatic effect using synthetic fibers - you can find them both loose or in mascaras - or simply go with tons of coat of your favorite mascara, of course.

» PICK THE RIGHT COLORS
Every brown eye is different and is different color toned. Just like you get some blue eyes that are more towards green and other more grayish, brown eyes can go from being cold toned to being even red toned. The real trick for making them pop is figuring out what color your eyes tend to and pick it as your shadow. For example, I've been trying the purple eyes for so long because I thought that was the color that looked better with my dark eyes, but whereas it suited my mum perfectly, I looked just like someone that has been punched in the eye. I then realized that my eyes were red toned, and using shadows like copper, amber or warm toned browns would give them all the deep and mystery the purple should've provided.
The best way to find out which shadows best suit your eye color, though, is by experimenting. I'd recommend you to pick up one of those cheap eye palettes with tons of different colors, place yourself in front of a mirror and start trying. When you'll finally meet the right shade, you'll see your eyes pop like never before, just like when you wear a color that really goes with your complexion.
