FIVE THINGS YOU CAN'T FORGET WHILE TRAVELLING

» DRY SHAMPOO
Usually when you're away you want to make the most of your time and spending one hour or so on your locks (think washing, blowdrying, styling) isn't on the list. This is why dry shampoo will be your best friend, especially this Garnier one that can do the trick even a couple days in a row (full review coming soon).

» EYE SLEEPING MASK
Ok so this one is a AirFrance free mask so doesn't look as fancy and cool as some out there do, but the point is you need this thing. Of course you know what it does, it blocks out the light and helps you sleeping, but you have no idea how good it will do you on the plane or on the bus or even in your hotel room when the jet leg or the excitement strikes. Especially if like me you are super sensible to light and you can only ronf in a pitch dark environment, a sleeping mask will save you. Not to mention how cool it feels to wear it before going to bed: don't talk to me, I'm a princess, can't you see my sleeping mask?

» PLASTERS
Not try to tell you you're gonna need them for their traditional purpose - at least I hope you aren't - but plasters are something no one ever thinks about while packing but that when you need them usually you don't have time to go out and search for them, especially in a foreign country. They're so useful, though: think blisters or, even worse, spots. Yeah, spots I said. You don't know how plasters can help you get rid of horrible pimples? Then you should have a look here.

» GUMS
Minty fresh breath, do I need to say more? Yes, because chewing a gum while the plane takes off or lands will avoid that annoying ear pressure, and I promise you it does work. Trust me, I've tried it. Only thing I'd say is to ditch the Simply Gum 100% natural that you see above for a more traditional Vivident pack, because honestly, they may be all organic and stuff, but they taste horrendous.

» MANICURE SET
My nails always always always break when I'm away, I don't know why. All I know is that then I'm left with this disgusting irregular edges that are gonna scratch me and catch every loose thread they can find. But not this time, not this time...
