THE PLASTER TRICK

You know what sucks?
Yankee Candles being so expensive, lipstick on my teeth, cactus thorns and Harry Styles that's still not following me on Twitter (c'mon bro!), but more than all, spots. They are disgusting, will ruin your whole look and oh Lord, they hurt! But here's the ultimate trick for making them less noticeable ASAP: just put a plaster on it!


Here is why it works:
001. Putting a plaster on, you will isolate your pimple and avoid any germs to get in contact with it, which would make it even worse.

002. If you're anything like me, as soon as you get a spot you couldn't help but touching it. This will inflame the pimple even more, because you will bring loads of germs to it. Putting on a plaster will avoid that.

003. You won't need to put any make up on, which means your pores will be free to breathe without all that foundation + concealer + powder, that will only clog them. And if you're afraid of your look, do you really think it is worse to sport a plaster (use the excuse you want to justify that) than a red - or even white! - disgusting spot?

004. I don't know all the scientific facts, but I think that removing oxygen makes spots disappear more quickly. All the dermatologists out there will be probably laughing at me now, but I've found that after a few hours with a plaster on my spot would be far less noticeable and less hurting, just like it's dried out. Now, as I said, I'm not 100% sure why this happens, but boy, if it works, I'm not complaining.

DISCLAIMER: Obviously, in this post I'm talking about the occasional spot. If you have serious skin problems, like acne, I wouldn't recommend this and advise you to go see a doctor instead. Not to mention that walking around with your face covered in plasters would be a bit excessive.
