THE HEART TOAST

I'd file this under lunch / breakfast, because us Italians would never eat this in the morning and I know you British Men / Americans would never look at this as a lunch (the sad scrambled eggs situation*).
Anyway whenever you want to eat this dish, it's super easy, super good and - the most important part - super 'grammable.

What you'll need »
  • 1 slice of bread
  • 2 eggs
  • cherry tomatoes to taste
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • Philadelphia light to taste (or any cream cheese you like)

Here's how »
  1. Start dividing the yolks from the albumens, then cook some white scrambled eggs using the albumens and the cream cheese. Put them aside.
  2. Now cut a heart shape hole in the bread. I used a heart shaped bowl and cut the perimeter with a knife, but I think you can also do it freehanded.
  3. Pour a few drops of oil on a pan, now place the bread and pour the yolks right in the hole.
  4. Let the yolk cook and the bread toast for a ten minutes - or until you think they're ready really!
  5. In the meanwhile, cut the tomatoes.
  6. Now put everything on a plate and dress it with salt & oil to taste.
That's it! The prettiest and quickest recipe ever. Perfect as a breakfast for your special one or for a cute pin on Pinterest!
