THE MILKMAID BRAID

Or halo braid, or crown braid, whatever you want to call it this is the hairstyle of this Spring. Everyone, from Mary-Kate Olsen to Jennifer Lawrence have sported this look and now, thanks to Zoella and HelloOctober, it's taking over the blogging world as well.

It's the easiest hairstyle ever: all you have to do is do two ordinary three-strands braids and then wrap them around your head, securing them with bobby pins. It seriously only takes me five minutes, four bobby pins and two clear elastic bands.

I can tell this will be my go-to hair for this summer: super quick and easy to do, keeps my tresses off my face and my neck which is great living in one of Italy's hottest towns, and it looks so cute and adorably boho I just can't get enough.

Oh and it goes perfectly with every outfit too, especially with puff sleeves and wooden buckets...
