D.I.Y. » TULLE FAIRY LIGHTS
What you'll need »
- Fairy lights
- Tulle (I got 2m and it was just fine, but its length depends on how many lights you have!)
- Scissors
Here's how »
- First of all cut your tulle into approximately 5cm squares.
- Now, tie the tulle on the wire just above your light. The parts sticking out should create a bow shape.
- Do the same thing on the same light again, but this time tie the tulle diagonally, so that it secures the first square you put in.
- Now repeat, repeat, repeat until you've done all your lights!
As you can see the process is quite simple but it does take a bit of time. It's not that bad when you do it in front of a Teen Wolf episode, though, and the effect is so cool. It's great at prettifying those fairy lights that, let's face it, aren't so cute when they're not on. Also remember that you don't have to do this only at Christmas time, it would look dashing even in Spring, Summer or Autumn!
