'CAUSE DARLING I'M A NIGHTMARE DRESSED LIKE... AHEM... A NIGHTMARE ACTUALLY

Happy Halloween everyone!

I know this post is going up quite late but I wanted to show you the make up / costume I'm wearing tonight. I knew I wanted something spooky and that had to do with make up as a) I wanted to have fun with it and b) I realized this morning I didn't have a costume.

I was already thinking about going as a skeleton inspired by the adorable little serial killer who is Tate Langton, but when I came across this photoshoot for Ever Magazine I fell in love. I adore how elegant and delicate is the whole look, still being quite spooky though.

I love the way the skeleton kinda melt with the girl's skin and how such a scary make up is combined with glamorous hair and outfit, creating such a beautiful contrast. To me, it's like a black rose.

I tried recreating the look with the help of this tutorial and keeping an eye to the pictures as I was doing it. I think the key is in blending the skeleton and your skin as much as you can, so it looks like some sorta transformation is happening. Also, don't forget to powder the face paint you put on (transparent powder for the white and black shadow for the black) if you want it to stay on for longer, I'm also bringing everything with me to the party for a few touch ups along the way! Another important piece of advice is to wash your brushes before starting with the make up if you don't want to be a skeleton with bronzer and blush!

Once the make was done I just put on my favorite party dress and high heels and gave a little volume to my hair using a bit of dry shampoo. Done.

Hi, I'm Linda. I'm dead. Wanna hook up?
