Mermaids, unicorns, My Little Poney, Tyler Oakley, all these magical creatures have something in common: fun colored hair, aka something I've wanted for quite a long time and I've finally achieved a few days ago, no salon's help needed, just an old shirt, a pair of gloves and Hairgum The Popcolor in Plum.

The Popcolor is a water based hair dye which means it doesn't contain bleach and it's not permanent - in fact you can see how the color faded majorly after just one wash - which makes it a great way to add a pop of color to your hair without a major commitment. The only thing is that you have to have bleached hair (or very light hair) to make the dye work, which for an ombre girl like me wasn't a big deal.

At less than 10€ I think it's a great fun product that I would definitely recommend. It's available in multiple colors but the lightest shades won't come off as bright as the darker ones, especially if your hair, like mine, isn't platinum but just a subtle honey blonde.
