ANTIPODES VANILLA POD REVIEW

Being the oily skin girl I am, moisturizers always got nothing but dirty looks from me, but let me tell your this is a good one.

Antipodes has always been a brand I was attracted to, make it be that's from New Zealand (that's a country I love, even if I've never been there: I just like the idea that's the exact antipode of Italy), that it only uses natural ingredients or its very chic and simple design, and now that I've finally had the chance to try it, I'm in love.

The Vanilla Pod is a very thick and creamy moisturizer, that unexpectedly feels very light on the skin, sinking in very quickly, and that looks like something I would enjoy eating. It does provides a lot of moisture and blah blah blah, but my favorite thing is the smell: it's nothing like vanilla - surprisingly - but it's a very spicy and orangy scent, still being very sweet and calming. Again, I would eat that.

The price tag is not the most affordable, but it's still less than the Origins Orange Zing, not to mention that a little really goes a long way. I'm also a fan of the playful instructions on the box that claim you should apply it everyday at the sunrise. Because that must be a joke, right?
