RIMMEL KATE MOSS LIPSTICK IN 10 REVIEW

I've never been a red lipstick girl. Too bold, too cliché, always thought was something only 80 years old ladies, '50 freaks gals and Scarlett Johanssons could wear. Looking back I think it was majorly because I didn't had the right red lipstick, and funny thing is that I got the Rimmel Kate Moss in 10 for free with a powder, otherwise I would've never picked it up. I guess Ed Sheeran was right when he said people fall in love in mysterious ways.

Because I've fallen in love with this lipstick. First thing, the formula is just amazing, probably the best out of all my lip products. Creamy, not drying, smells amazing. Goes on like a dream and fades evenly, leaving a beautiful stain which means you can literally go a full night without re-applying it. Honestly nothing like my Rimmel Kate Moss 107, maybe because this isn't matte. The finish is almost like a laquer, shiny, but definitely not glossy. I would describe it as the classic lipstick finish.

Now onto the color. This is the Hollywood red. Beautiful, simply a pleasure to stare at. Slightly pink toned I'd say but honestly when I look at it all I can see is red. Pure, deep, sexual, Taylor Swift red.

Now let me tell you a realization I had about red lips in general: you need them. Before or after, it's gonna come the day when you wake up and all you want is a beautiful cherry pout. Because it makes you feel sexy, sophisticated, glamouros... it makes you feel woman. Guess it's not a case red is probably the oldest color in the lipstick family. And since, as you can see, you really need a red lipstick, why not make it be this one?
