THE WORST AND THE BEST GEL EYELINER YOU'LL EVER COME ACROSS

Now, before you start reading this post I want you to have a guess on who's the winner. Done? Ok, let's do this.



Gel eyeliner is very daunting for many people, and I don't really know why. About a year and a half ago I was converted to it and I'm never coming back: way easier to apply than liquid liner (being more solid it gives you more control), easier to correct any mistake (if you act before it dries), a lot blacker, a lot more long lasting, doesn't stick to your lashes... what's not to love.

The first ever gel eyeliner I've tried, after recommendation of lady Burr, was the Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel liner. That changed my life and turned me into the queen of cat flicks. Ya know all that good stuff I wrote up there about gel liner? It can be used to describe this one 100%.

But after one year I run out of it and I wanted to try something new and went for the L'Oreal Super Liner Gel Intenza one. What a mistake. Super hard to work with it, it sticks to my lashes and it's so sheer that you need at least three coats to get a solid black... and you know that just drawing cat eyes once it's hard, think about three! I absolutely hate this product, I find it a real nightmare and the reason why I don't wear eyeliner on a daily basis as I used to.

Guess the one who said 'you never change a winning team' was right, then...
