SUNDAY STORIES » HAPPY EASTER!
001. First of all, Happy Easter. I hope you're having a great time whether you're spending this day with your family or with your friends and whether this is a religious holiday for you or not. I hope you got chocolate anyway.
002. This week for me has been a breaking point, musically wise. I resynchronized my iPhone, going from more than 1300 tracks I've been collecting since I was 12, to a little 700. I felt weird that as soon as I spring cleaned my library I discovered two new bands: Oh Honey and American Authors. I know the latter is quite popular but I'm getting into 'Best Day Of My Life' just now, while Oh Honey is the cutest boho band who released their first EP in March which I really advise you to listen to. I feel like it's time to grow a bit with my musical taste and I can see folk Lumineers-like music is what I'm heading to. There's no way I'm gonna delete One Direction from my library, though.
003. Talking about music, this week The Vamps released their first album 'Meet The Vamps'. To me this is so important since I've been waiting for it for a good year. It's so cool to see how they've come from covering Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift to have their own album out and I know they definitely deserve all the good they're getting these days. The album is currently blasting through my speakers and I can see it being my soundtrack for this summer. My favorite songs right now are High Hopes, Move My Way, Cecilia and Wild Heart (an old fave) but I promise you every single track is worth a listening, so go and buy your copy, donuts!
004. I've bought four books this week. Four. I usually don't buy books because I read a lot and I prefer relying on the library, but I had to get 'I Love Hollywood' and 'Allegiant' having the other volumes of the series. The other two books I've bought are something, believe me or not, I couldn't find at my local library: Rivers of London and The Fault in Our Stars. I'm super excited to read the latter because I've been wanting to read it for a long while but never did as I know it's a very sad story!
005. On Thursday I went to my beloved Villa Borghese for a picnic and it was just the perfect day. The sun was shining, and we spent the day lying on the meadow eating chips and drinking green tea. I wish I had days like these more often and I hope I will now that Summer is on its way!
Now excuse me mister, but I have chocolate to eat.
Have a wonderful Easter!
