We still didn't know what was going to happen...

The picture that brought us to them.

It all began at 6,30 am on April the 25th, when I had to wake up, get dressed and catch a train that was gonna take me to Rome and then another train to Milan. I was with my friend Lisa and we basically started eating at 7 am and never stopped.

We arrived in Milan at 2 pm, it was hot and sunny so we walked to our Residence from the station. We relaxed and then explored our area, finding our way to the Alcatraz, where the convention was taking place, that miraculously was like 1 minute away from our accommodation.

Next our other friends arrived and we headed to the city center, where the Duomo and all the shops are. Thing is, we kept seeing Instagrams of Tyler Oakley and Troye Sivan wandering around Milan and so we couldn't focus on anything that wasn't a purple hair head, which we searched desperately in the crowd and without success.

After a quick McDonald's dinner (we were hungry even though we haven't stopped eating for a second) we were exhausted and upset: we haven't met anyone and all our favorite YouTubers were kept posting pictures of them having a great time in a restaurant, celebrating Caspar Lee's birthday.

And then it happened.

They posted another happy picture, we looked at it in tears and then we saw that napkin. An ordinary napkin with the name of the restaurant on it.
We zoomed, we googled, we run.

Luckily, the restaurant was something like 1 km away so we made it there in no time and when we saw them through the glass we went crazy. We didn't want to bother them though so we turned the corner, calmed down and then decided to walk past the restaurant one more time, after having agreed we would have pretended we didn't know them.

The first three we walked by were Jim Chapman (who's very tall), Joe Sugg (who's very hot) and Marcus Butler (who gave us the eye which made us freak out, but we couldn't let him know so we just played it cool while we were screaming internally so hard).

Later we kept walking and we found El Dorado: from Zoe Sugg to Tyler Oakley, from Caspar Lee to Louis Pentland, from Emma Blackery to Tanya Burr, they were all there. Again, we didn't want to bother them but when we saw Louise and Louis were vlogging we thought we could go and say hi.

We came closer and Alfie Deyes saw us and stopped, walked to me and asked 'How you doin'?'. Well, if before I was freaking out now I was dead. Like literally dead. Hence why I just said 'nnnngh' and he said 'You good?' and I said 'A bit excited' while I was fangirling all over the place inside. Then Louise came along and when we apologized for stopping them she said 'Don't worry, you're Italians, you're beautiful' and then to me 'And you with your hair like Zoe' which basically disintegrated me.

Then they said they had to go and we said ok sorry and then they left and we lost it, like literally lost it, fangirling so hard on the ones who talked to us and the ones we spotted and then we turned around and the Tanya Burr was there, at something like a cm away, so we ran away hoping she hadn't heard us and didn't think we were completely mental, even though she probably did.

TLDR » So this was our first day in Milan, when we turned into serious stalkers and found our favorite YouTubers via a napkin, we've been checked out -that's how we're telling the story anyway- by Marky Butt Butt, we talked to Alfie & Louise and after they left had a one-hour-long conversation about whether they were hating us now because we annoyed them or they were going to remember us the next day.
